Is AmeriCAIN 521 really artist owned?

Yes. AmeriCAIN 521 is independently owned and operated by Cris Cain, a working musician and engineer, not a franchise or investor-backed studio chain.

Does the founder have experience as a musician, not just an engineer?

Yes — before opening AmeriCAIN 521, Cris booked shows, played sessions, and recorded demos throughout Williamsburg, which shapes how sessions are run today.

Is the studio accessible for artists with disabilities?

We want every artist to feel comfortable in our space, and we're happy to work with you on accessibility needs — just let us know when you book so we can accommodate you.

How do I book a session?

Reach out through our Contact page with what you're working on and your preferred dates, and we'll follow up with availability and rates.

Where is the studio located?

AmeriCAIN 521 is located at 270 Meserole St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, an easy walk from the L train.
